WSAM Committee member Jeanie FISHER featured on ArchivesAware!
Earlier this year, the popular archives blog ArchivesAware featured a video interview with Washington State Archives Month Committee member Jeannie Fisher. Fisher, a Reference Archivist at the Seattle Municipal Archives shared her love of archival work. ArchivesAware is managed by the Society of American Archivists' Committee on Public Awareness (COPA) to create an online space to share their experiences of and ideas for raising public awareness of archives and the value that archives and archivists to society. 2019 Archives fair at seattle city hall
The Seattle Municipal Archives (SMA) celebrated Archives Month with an Archives Fair at City Hall on October 30th. Honoring this year’s theme of “Celebrate Washington’s Heritage” set by the Washington State Archives Month Committee, the Archives Fair brought together 19 different local archives, representing a wide diversity of collections documenting and celebrating the rich heritage of our region.
